Accra Indie Filmfest is a not-for-profit organization established as a hub for the emerging and independent filmmakers searching for their voices in storytelling. As part of the new phase of the Ghana film industry, there is the essential need to contribute to the solution by tackling the problem from the core foundation.
We are super proud to continuously stay in our core mandate of addressing some of the major challenges faced by young and independent filmmakers all around the world which is the lack of conducive atmosphere for short film productions and exhibitions.
Our ability to successfully organize the festival for the past four years, with the 2nd and 3rd editions held in a time of a global pandemic and its economic related issues, has so far been one of our greatest strengths and a humbling learning experience. This offers us enough motivation to curate this year’s edition of the festival to meet the current global need of film experience.
