Already being touted as truly a first of its kind, QVision and SEG Cineland have finally put out an official trailer for what many have come to accept as Ghana’s first science-fiction feature film, Adam the First.

The film stars the likes of Agbeko ‘Bex’ Mortty, Naa Ashokor, Majeed Suhuyini, Samira Suhyini and Jacob Zibidee Ayanaba.

The trailer is already sending social media users and Ghanaian film aficionados on a frenzy. With eye-candy, VFX works by New Zealander Mateo R. Sedano and a captivating Afro-futuristic sound score from Ghanaian producer, Gomez Beatx (Notable for the Asabone hit song by Lord Paper and Bosom P. Yung)

Check it out below.

Writer and director M. Sayibu describes the film as “a journey of self-discovery and revelation”. He further explains “and as the name suggests, we follow the journey of a man, the first of his kind, as he explores the cosmo to find a new home for humanity”

Hence the film’s brief synopsis ‘Following a cataclysmic event on Earth, Adam, an emissary of mankind explores the stars in search of a new home.’

Hopefully, there should be a release date soon as that has still not been confirmed. In the meantime, let’s just enjoy the trailer.

Second on my list of addictions is Movies.. the only thing I could possibly love more is my Dearest Waakye lol. Nothing else does a better job of reminding me that ANYTHING is possible with the right amount of effort. I have great eye for details and flaws in scripts. Shallow scripts bore me. I am an avid reader. Your everyday Mr Nice guy. Always the last to speak in a room full of smart people. Half Human, half Martian but full MOVIE FREAK.
